Farmer Karsten Dudziak has arranged to meet his beekeeper friend Martin Effmert on the farm in Sophienhof/Neustrelitz. Together they visit a field where phacelia grows. Karsten sowed the plant in the spring especially for Martin's honey bees. The nectar-rich plant provides the bees with plenty of food. At the same time, they pollinate the plants. A win-win situation. Because Karsten ultimately wants to grow his own seed from the plant. In Kölau, Lower Saxony, it is mating season on the poultry farm. For the fertilization act, Christine Bremer wants to provide her turkey hens with special protection for the first time. So that the rooster cannot injure the hens with his kicks, she wants to put a kind of saddle on the hens. But the turkey protection saddle is only a prototype and is quite large. The fitting is therefore difficult. And the selected hen does not seem very enthusiastic either. Flower gardener Jens Wöbb has a lot to do in Hamburg-Altengamme. He got up at midnight to sell his cut flowers at the wholesale market. The gardener then delivered a few bouquets directly to local customers. Back at the nursery, he worked a bed with a rotary harrow so that he could later sow oil radish on it. But in between, Jens Wöbb was allowed to get a little annoyed about the rabbits that were always trying to get at his flowers. And Jens was allowed to congratulate a birthday child on his flower farm. In the Harz foothills, repairs were needed on the Bercht organic farm. Johannes' favorite tool, the silo block cutter, was broken. He needed the tool to take feed out of the bunker silo. Two boys from the neighborhood helped the young farmer with this work. But they were under time pressure. If the block cutter is not running again by the evening, the cows would have no feed. Meanwhile, young farmer Johannes Bercht and his trainee Silas took care of other machines.
