Robert Fico's fourth government has completed its first year. It expressly changed the criminal code, abolished special prosecutors and NAKA. At the end of the year, it consolidated public finances. The result is 13th pensions, lower VAT on selected foods, or energy assistance for all, but also a sharp increase in VAT to 23% and higher corporate taxes or a highway vignette. Ministers have increased their salaries, but they have forgotten about doctors and teachers. The coalition is struggling with a fragile 76 and cannot elect a head of parliament. The Minister of Culture has driven culture out into the streets. The prime minister's priority is foreign policy on all four sides of the world. He curses the opposition and the media, and jumps around the world. From China to Brazil and looks forward to Russia and Turkey. What kind of year was it?
