What makes anglers' hearts sway with silver waves is Yeosu silver hairtail! Baekdo, the secret beauty of Yeosu that the captain specially showed us while sailing. Baekdo, which consists of 39 uninhabited rocky islands, is considered the most beautiful island in Korea. Leaving behind the secret beauty of Baekdo, which is a privilege only for anglers, we started hairtail fishing after sailing 3 hours and 30 minutes from Yeosu! Among people fighting with plump hairtail, there is one person who is showing off his extraordinary leisure. He is Jeong Jong-gi, a self-proclaimed expert in Yeosu hairtail fishing and known as the 'Namjin' of Yeosu. It's been over 30 years since he lost sleep over fishing for hairtail. 200 fish a day! He says he found joy in life thanks to the delicious hairtail. Because it has a short temper and dies as soon as it comes out of the water, he prepares everything from precious hairtail sashimi to a sumptuous meal made with freshly caught hairtail!
