Inspector Mistrache interrogates an individual who says his name is Craciun Vasile, but who is actually called Vasile Dumitrana, sentenced to prison and a member of the Communist Party. The inspector accuses him of carrying dynamite. He had been accompanied by two other communists. One of them, named Focsa, had managed to escape. After being beaten, they are taken in a car to the forest to be killed. But just before they are shot, they try to run away. One of them, Ion Petre, is killed while running away, but Dumitrana manages to escape. QUESTION: Why does Focsa wish that the other two companions had been killed? ------------------ Distribution: Victor Rebenciuc, Corado Negreanu, Mircea Albulescu.
