A participatory documentary about the city of Esslingen. In this grassroots user-generated cinema project, Esslingen residents are in front of and behind the camera. They show, film and add sound to their personal favorite places and stories in the city. "Esslingen: MY Städtle" is intended to be a kind of "blueprint". Other cities are welcome to adopt the concept in order to tell their own participatory story. *The Landesfilmdienst Baden-Württemberg eV is a non-profit organization funded by the Ministry of Culture of Baden-Württemberg. You have to understand the media in order to be able to deal with it. The aim of our work is to teach the tools for dealing with media: collecting information, classifying it correctly and communicating it. Together with interested people of all ages, we develop, test and implement concepts for working with media. We also offer: - Online tutorials - Workshops - Internships We are the right contact in the fields of media education, media pedagogy, media competence, media production, media education, intercultural media work, media workshops and much more.
