Dear Members! 📢 We are happy to announce the premiere of the next episode of the PTTPB podcast! Today, our guest 👏🏽 is Dr. Magdalena Skotnicka-Chaberek. Magdalena Skotnicka-Chaberek - Psychologist (graduate of the University of Warsaw) and physician (Medical University of Warsaw). Her area of psychotherapy specialization is the problems of people and their families affected by: ADHD, pervasive developmental disorders, damage to the central nervous system and mental disorders occurring in the course of rare diseases of genetic origin. Clinical experience in working with patients: Head of the Neurorehabilitation Center. As a psychologist, she worked at SP CSK AM in Warsaw in the Neurosurgery Clinic and the Polyclinic of the Hospital on Litewska Street. She is also an experienced doctor in the emergency system. She serves as the substantive director of the four-year postgraduate studies in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Faculty of Psychology in Katowice, organized as part of the School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at SWPS University. Education: She holds a certificate of psychotherapist: Polish Society for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (graduate of the first training in Poland in 1998-2002, under the supervision of prof. Scrimali), EABCT and SITCC (Societa' Italiana di Terapia Cognitiva e Comportamentale); supervisor-didactician of PTTPB. She is the co-author of books and numerous scientific articles and conference presentations on ADHD, psychological diagnostics, neurorehabilitation and psychotherapy.
