This chapter of our history begins with the darkest night of repression and ends with a war that accelerates the definitive return of democracy. On March 24, 1976, a new civil-military coup seizes power. But this coup is very different from the previous ones. For the first time, the three Armed Forces - Army, Navy and Air Force - are going to act together. In other words, they are going to share power and all three are going to repress equally. Public Television and Canal Encuentro present “See History”: a series that addresses the 200 years of Argentine history 1806-2010. Made up of 13 chapters, the series is organized around significant socio-political events in Argentine history.
