Participants are divided into train nerds (fugitives) and non-train nerds (oni) and compete against each other2. The escape area is all of Western Japan, Kyushu, and Shikoku3. The time limit is 36 hours, from 8AM to 8PM the following day4. All public transportation can be used5. Both parties must be in pairs when riding in a vehicle6. Participants can check each other's location once every 30 minutes7. Fugitives can only use the Shinkansen for a maximum of 1 hour continuously. After using the station, you must remain at that station for 30 minutes8. Missions are issued by the game master at irregular intervals.
