This chapter of our history has a proper name: it is the time of Rosas. By the beginning of 1835, the country is again on the brink of civil war. The assassination of the federal leader, Facundo Quiroga, exacerbates old conflicts between the provinces. 25 years have passed since the May revolution. After breaking the chains of Spanish rule, the greatest challenge is to achieve national organization. Televisión Pública and Canal Encuentro present “Ver La Historia”: a series that addresses the 200 years of Argentine history 1806-2010. Made up of 13 chapters, the series is organized around significant socio-political events in Argentine history.
