Episode 1, Season 23 We live in a society where, under the pressure of severe economic problems, we often fall behind and sometimes give up on our dreams just to be able to continue. These past few months, I felt the need to learn a little more about economics in simple terms. Our studies and experiences as a person living in an inflationary economy are not enough, our limited experiences prevent us from making good decisions and managing in times of crisis. This season helps us to be more aware of possible harm and to be able to manage our financial situation better. You may be familiar with the guest of the new season, Mr. Siamak Ghasemi, a business graduate, founder of the Bamdad Economic Studies Institute and a consultant in the field of business and investment. The topic of the first episode is basic economic concepts. Why should we know basic economic concepts? Because economics is not just numbers and graphs; it is in our daily lives. When prices go up, when we take out loans, when we look for investments, all of this has an economic root. If we don't understand economics, we won't understand what's happening to our money or why our income and expenses suddenly don't add up.
