Subscribe and follow the channel! / @morgangrip From different parts of Sweden, Norway and Finland, they have come in their vintage trucks to Sveg in Härjedalen to participate in the Fjällsvängen meeting. The Fjällsvängen truck rally lasts three days and they drive a round of 40 miles, among other things they drive over Flatruet, a high plateau in Härjedalen which is known as Sweden's highest country road, which runs at an altitude of 975 meters above sea level between Funäsdalen and Ljungdalen. The truck meet begins on Friday morning with a shared breakfast at Café Cineast in Sveg before gathering and departure from the large parking lot at Däckab in Sveg's eastern industrial area. The round goes towards Vemservice in Vemdalen, where the gang gets coffee and a demonstration of Vemservice's operations. On the way up to Vemdalen, you also make a coffee stop in the village of Linsell, which lies between Sveg and Vemdalen. After coffee and a tour at Vemservice in Vemdalen, you drive on to Hede for a lunch stop and then towards Tännäs for a stop at Härjebrygg, with coffee and a tour of the brewery operations. Friday's last stop is Bruksvallarna. Here dinner is taken and here is the first overnight stay for the gang and their vintage trucks. After a nice evening with good company and lots of talk about trucks, of course, and a good night's sleep, the sun rises on Saturday morning. Saturday's first stop is at the top of Flatruet, where coal buns are served and nature offers spectacular views in all directions. The road over Flatruet was built in the 1930s as a labor market measure during the Great Depression. The aim was to create work and improve the infrastructure in the region. Since then, the road has been maintained and improved to meet modern requirements. From Flatruet they then drive on over the mountain towards Ljungdalen, Börtnan, Svenstavik and Klövsjö, where they stop for dinner and overnight before driving back to Sveg again on Sunday morning and the truck meeting ends. This is a unique vintage truck meeting in Sweden, where you drive over Kalfjället, where owners and enthusiasts of older trucks gather to drive together, exchange experiences and make contacts with like-minded people.
