Cecilia Sala is a professional journalist, she was in Iran with a regular journalist visa: she had agreed on a series of meetings and interviews and her trip had been planned and studied in detail. She was not unprepared and did not underestimate the risks, so much so that today she is in Evin prison in Tehran without a formal charge.
