About :

If you live abroad and want to bring your own car with foreign license plates to Ukraine, then you need to: confirm your residence in another country *register with the Embassy of Ukraine. If one of the points is missing, you must: pay excise duty and VAT on your car upon entry as a deposit; *leave Ukraine within 5 days (through the region through which you entered) or within 10 days (through another region) *provide all documents received upon entry to customs for the return of the deposit. Attention! The deposit is sometimes returned within 6 months. Payment of the deposit is possible only from a personal Ukrainian bank card and is also returned only to it. Registering for Consular Registration is not an easy task: make an appointment *prepare all required documents (available at the link: https://uk.mfa.gov.ua/konsulysyki-pit...) *pay the consular fee *wait 10 days for a decision (and if you want it earlier, you have to pay double the amount)
