ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN CIRCULAR FASHION: two inspiring stories. Episode #16 of the Olha Ela Podcast. 🎙LISTEN TO THE FULL EPISODE on Spotify: Two entrepreneurs, the same field, and two different business models. Meet Andréia and Giulia, entrepreneurs in the retail and circular fashion sector! Andréia, who has a degree in International Relations and an MBA in International Business Management, dove headfirst into the world of entrepreneurship after years of experience in retail, including her work as a manager at FARM. That's when her passion for sustainable fashion began to blossom. Her first business, Feito por Catarina, produced from textile waste. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Andréia moved forward and created Tôôdisponível, a circular fashion business that started out unpretentiously and is now a reference in the segment. Giulia, who has a degree in Environmental Management, has always been connected to sustainability issues. After working as an optical consultant, she founded Dharma Brechó at the beginning of the pandemic, alongside her husband and mother-in-law, all recently unemployed. With few resources but a lot of determination, Dharma started as an online thrift store and, in a short time, gained strength and space. Today, Dharma Brechó has a physical store in Santa Catarina, which grew with the support of social media and a close-knit family team. Giulia shares what it was like to build this circular fashion business and how family entrepreneurship has been the key to success. In this episode, we talk about sustainable fashion, entrepreneurship and how it is possible to align passion and purpose in building a business that positively impacts the world.
