Notes: Peace be upon you all. A simple amendment to the sentence that aluminum radiators dissipate heat better than copper. It is a wrong sentence and vice versa. It is preferable to change the coolant every 4 years or every 100,000 km approximately. If you buy concentrated coolant, it must be diluted to 50% with distilled water (distilled is better because it does not contain salts from drinking water). If the liquid is diluted, do not dilute it further. Diluted to 30% is good. But the best standard for hot areas is 50%. If the coolant is slightly reduced, distilled water or drinking water can be added. It is preferable to replace the thermostat and radiator cap with it as maintenance, but it is not mandatory. Prestone liquid is available in most spare parts stores in Saudi Arabia, especially the American ones.
