The decree on agrivoltaics, published in April 2024, specifies the conditions for installing photovoltaic panels on agricultural land, taking into account the coverage rate and the acceptable loss of agricultural yield. It defines agrivoltaics and places the agricultural operation at the center of the debate. There are around ten agrivoltaic installations in large-scale crops. The impacts are currently being evaluated. What is the initial feedback? What energy gain? What is the impact on agricultural production? How will the decree of March 2024 influence the development of agrivoltaics? What are the new perspectives?
