We have gathered together from different eparchies of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to remind you that no enemies will take away the most important thing from us - the Nativity of Christ! No matter how hard we try, no matter how much discord we want to sow, our Ukrainian people are God's people and with His help they will overcome everything! Soon the Grace of the Nativity of Christ will cover the whole earth. Leave your earthly longing and go greet the Born One. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life!" (John 3:16-18). "Sing to our God, sing, sing to our King, sing, for God is the King of all the earth" (Ps. 47:7-8). Meet the carolers: Amelika Ocean, in peace - Galina Kapriyan, wife of the cleric of the Cathedral of the Venerable Paraskeva of the Serbian Chernivtsi-Bukovina Eparchy of the OCU - Father Vasyl Kapriyan. Christian singer, songwriter, vocal teacher, head of the Diocesan Department of Religious Culture and Spiritual Singing of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Ukraine. With God's help, she wrote this carol almost a year ago and with the blessing of His Eminence Theognost, Bishop of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, gathered a God-loving team that also works for the glory of God in life and together with them implemented the God-sent plan. The singer is wearing a folk costume of the colorful Bukovyna region, the city of Vyzhnytsia. She expresses her gratitude to the Department of Decorative, Applied and Fine Arts of the Ukrainian National University (Vyzhnytsia) headed by Ms. Myroslava Zhavoronkova for kindly providing invaluable folk clothing for filming! The video was shot in the Cathedral of the Venerable Paraskeva of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Chernivtsi. Another representative of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna eparchy is the venerable Maria Gavrylyuk - choirmaster, vocal teacher, leader of the “Axios” bishops' choir, wife of the priest of the Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos of the OCU in the village of Roztoky, Vyzhnytskyi district. She performs the second verse of the carol solo. The venerable is wearing traditional Bukovyna clothing - a precious family heirloom that she inherited from her grandmother, and her grandmother - from her great-grandmother! The video was filmed in the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Volodymyr the Great of the OCU in Chernivtsi. The third soloist of the carol was a representative of the Dnipro Eparchy of the OCU, a chorister of the Church of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, an employee of the International Salvation Committee, the child protection department - Mother Anna Marchuk, wife of Archpriest Andriy Marchuk - a cleric of the Central Diocesan Church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" of the OCU, Dnipro. Mother is dressed in a traditional women's costume of the Dnipro region - an elegant dark burgundy dress with a characteristic ornament on the sleeves and hem and a "Pavloposad" scarf. She expresses gratitude for the costume provided to the Dnipro National Music and Drama Academic Theater named after T.G. Shevchenko. The video was filmed in the Central Diocesan Church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" of the OCU, Dnipro. The powerful polyphony of the entire carol is performed by the Pomisna Choir - the youth choir of the St. Nicholas Church of the Ivano-Frankivsk-Halych Eparchy of the OCU. The leader is Olga Kutsela, a singer, choirmaster, and member of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Academic Hutsul Song and Dance Ensemble - "Hutsuliya".
