In 1970, Ekkehard Böhnlein captured the atmospheric steam operation with the locomotives "Teisnach" and "Deggendorf" on the 4.22-kilometer-long line operated by the Regentalbahn. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 50 years ago, there was still an exciting variety of traction on the DB tracks. The approaching end of steam locomotive operations in particular attracted many railway enthusiasts with their cameras to the railway embankments and documented a railway operation that was long gone.
