Royce and his henchmen storm the small homestead, killing Ackerman and his wife and kidnapping their teenage daughter Ruth. With U.S. Marshall Quincy Foster and former U.S. Calvary Scout Carson Garret hot on their heels, the gang heads north to sell Ruth into slavery. After getting lost, however, the Tullis find themselves in the small community of Eminence Hill, a town run by a group of deeply devout and fanatical settlers who have built a sacred oasis in a desolate land of evil. How will a band of bloodthirsty cutthroats be received by those who live by God's law? Will Quincy and Carson find Ruth before it's too late? Only one thing is certain.
