Today I have for you a new embroidery design with ribbons on vagonite fabric. In this video tutorial you will be able to see step by step the elaboration of this beautiful design. This embroidery is made with two types of 3 mm wide orange ribbon, one with shine (lurex) and the other in gradient. The amount of ribbon to be used varies depending on the design. To avoid wasting a lot of ribbon when embroidering, I will give you a tip. To make each of the rows at the ends (2 upper and 2 lower), I use four times the length of the fabric that I am going to embroider, which in this example is 19.5 cm (19.5 x 4), and for each of the two rows that are needed to embroider the central design, I calculate the length of the ribbon by multiplying 3 times the length of the fabric to be used. You will see this in the video at minutes: 7:00 - 7:17 How much ribbon should be used to embroider each of the upper and lower rows? 15:44 - 15:51 How much ribbon is needed to embroider each of the rows for the central design?
