She lives with a doctor friend outside Cairo, where she gives birth to her child and the child grows up. She learns from the newspapers that the doctor has returned from his mission and has become the agent of her town's hospital. She decides to return to Egypt to ask him to recognize his son. When she meets him, he is confused because he knows that he has a four-year-old son and confirms that he will recognize him, but asks her to give him time to prepare himself. She thinks that he is evading her. Suddenly, her family calls him to help her dying father, so she goes with him and asks for forgiveness.
