We arrived at El Chaltén!!!, but first we stopped by the La Leona parador, where we had lunch and learned the history of this emblematic place. We went to Lago del Desierto, we visited the historic site where there was a confrontation between the Carabineros de Chile and the National Gendarmerie in 1965 over a border dispute. We visited the chapel of the Virgen de Loreto and we did the trekking that took us to the Huemul glacier, traveling through a beautiful forest. We also went to the Chorrillo del Salto waterfall, which is only 3km from the town. We celebrated Sergio's birthday in this wonderful place.
