More videos at https://www.sat1regional.de The Arctic Ocean in the Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg is home to polar bears, penguins, fur seals, numerous seabirds and - unique in a German zoo - walruses. Carl Hagenbeck built his Nordland panorama over 100 years ago, unique in the world. But after a century it was dilapidated and so the 8,000 square meter new Arctic Ocean was built, based on a historical model. It was officially opened almost ten years ago, on July 20, 2012. #tierparkhagenbeck #zoo #arctica
