After milling and shot blasting, damaged areas such as holes and cracks in the screed often appear. Such damage inevitably occurs after years of constant high loads, e.g. from forklift traffic. This is also the case with our warehouse in Hanover. To close these damaged areas and make the new floor just as resilient again, all you need is a little epoxy resin primer and quartz sand. This creates a "rock-hard" epoxy resin mortar that can withstand all loads, permanently closes holes and cracks and levels the floor again for the subsequent coating. Such repair work is also possible during ongoing operations and is often necessary. The advantage of einzA epoxy resin mortar over cement-bound materials (which take a long time to dry) is that it can be further processed and reworked after just 24 hours. Thomas shows you how this works in this video. Have fun!
