Tajine Al-Halou is a traditional dish that is prepared a lot in the month of Ramadan and at banquets. It is originally prepared with meat and dried fruits, which is why it is called Tajine Lahm Al-Halou, but today I prepared it for you with dried fruits only, without meat. I added touches that make it wonderful in taste. Try it, God willing, you will like it. Sweet Tajine: Ingredients Raisins = dried grapes Dried apricots Dried plums We measure any measure according to the number of your family members We mix all the dried fruits until we get a measure to serve in the rest of the recipe In a saucepan we put: 1/2 tablespoon butter A small stick of cinnamon Star of the earth A few cloves In the same measure as the measure of dried fruits We put 2 measures of water We leave them until they boil We add to them the apricots and raisins only 1/2 measure of sugar and close it We leave them to cook on a low heat for an hour or more until we see the broth thickened and foam begins to appear Here we add: 1/2 cup of tea Orange blossom water A teaspoon of vanilla We leave it to boil for 15 minutes and turn it off As for the sample/plums, we cook them alone so that the broth does not turn black: We measure the plums, about a kilo, then in the same measure we add 2 measures of water + 1/2 measure of sugar and leave it on the fire on a low heat until we see foam begins to appear, turn it off On it.. You can add any other additions, each according to his taste and ability.
