Got up at 4:00 a.m. and drove to Oberstdorf. There we started our crossing of the Alps in August 2022. Stage 1: Shortly before 8:00 a.m. we went from Oberstdorf via the Spielmannsau to the Kemptner Hut as an intermediate stop, followed by an ascent to the Mädelejoch (crossed the border into Austria) and the descent into the Lechtal to Holzgau
