On February 7, 2005, Jörg Schneider celebrates his 70th birthday. To mark the occasion, SF DRS is showing the comedy "Dure bi rot" on this Saturday evening. The original, "Caught in the Net - Run for your Wife again" comes from England and is by Ray Cooney. Adaptation and dialect version by Jörg Schneider, directed by René Scheibli. Bigamist taxi driver Hugo has successfully led a double life for 18 years. But one day the affair threatens to be exposed and Hugo's best friend Oskar has to act as a troubleshooter. The role of the lively Oskar is an ideal playground for the eternally young Jörg Schneider. Hugo Meier's (Beat Gärtner) 16-year-old son Thomy lives in Adliswil and his 17-year-old daughter Vicky lives in Wollishofen - together with Monika. The taxi driver skillfully maintains the web of lies for a long time. Unfortunately, the two "kids" get to know each other while chatting on the Internet and cannot be dissuaded from wanting to visit each other. They have also discovered that their fathers are the same age, have the same name and profession. What a great coincidence! Hugo panics and enlists the help of his only accomplice, lodger Oskar (Jörg Schneider), to prevent the catastrophe. Oskar turns out to be a master at forging tricks and tricks to smuggle the two wives and children past each other. The result is hopeless, ultra-comic chaos.
