The nearly three billion Fico and Kamenický consolidation means that the state will spend 66 and a half billion euros next year, but will collect just under 60 billion. The rest is the deficit, that is, the debt of our public finances. The budget calculates a deficit of 4.7%. In layman's terms, the government will take more money from us than it actually needs to reduce the deficit. 235 million euros are supposed to go to help with energy prices, the government has planned almost half a billion in the reserve. Higher salaries for state employees or health workers are not planned. Why does the government say that the budget is stabilizing, but the opposition says that it goes against the people? How will the huge consolidation be reflected in it and how is the state going to manage this money? Will all those increased taxes and fees be enough for the government?
