On August 1, 1976, shortly before 5 a.m., the Reichsbrücke in Vienna collapsed. Of the 7 people who were on the bridge at the time of the collapse, 6 were able to save themselves. But how could the collapse have happened in the first place? How could such a massive bridge, which even survived World War II, suddenly collapse? I answer these and other questions in my video today. I will also give you an insight into the history behind the construction of the first and second Reichsbrücke. Enjoy watching! Here on my main channel everything revolves around the construction and operation of buildings in practice. These can be my own projects from my work as a civil engineer, but also projects that fascinate me outside of my job. I hope that I can inspire you with the videos about the topic of construction sites. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email. Enjoy the videos!
