When does esotericism become dangerous? Franka used to feel different. In spirituality she finds new hope and finally the feeling of belonging. She slips deeper and deeper into the community and spiritual festivals, rituals and beliefs determine her life. Only when she falls for a rip-off and drags her best friend into it does she manage to leave the scene. ???? The video description for more accessibility for our film about #spirituality can be found in the second comment under the video. ???? What are gift circles? Gift circles are fraudulent pyramid schemes in which existing members repeatedly recruit new participants who pay fresh money into the circle. Such a circle consists of four rings, for example. In the inner ring there is a person who receives the money. With each circle the number of people doubles. So there are two people in the second circle, four in the third and eight new people enter the fourth ring who "donate" the money. Then the inner person leaves the circle, the circle splits and each person slides one ring further inwards. The two people from the second ring each open a new circle. Eight new members each have to be recruited for these. These illegal systems often promise financial success and a kind of community. But they are illegal in many countries because they lead to financial loss for most participants and are based on deception and exploitation. ????What are the risks of drug use when you have mental health problems?
