At the RAI in 1962, DAF introduced the new 2600 for long distances. With a spacious cabin, two beds and a powerful engine, the Eindhoven brand set a standard for this type of transport. Some sixty years later, DAF repeated this with the New Generation. When you see the two trucks next to each other, the dimensions of the cabins alone make it clear that this is comparing apples and oranges. Presentation: Robert Servaas Camera work: Arjan Olsthoorn
