Hello dear railway friends, when I was looking at my videos of the Arlberg Railway, I noticed that the strong changes in the track gradient in the stations are quite unusual and look downright dramatic in the strong telephoto. Why not make a themed video that looks at exactly this circumstance? The first station is Braz near Bludenz. Here the railway line descends from the mountain at around 3% and changes to level in the station area, but this only lasts for a short time. Wald am Arlberg is the second candidate on the Arlberg Railway, whose station only has a relatively short section of level tracks in the area around the reception building. Otherwise, the station is left on the track gradient on both sides, especially downhill towards Bludenz, the tracks are already on a gradient again up to the exit signals. Great telephoto shots show the strong changes in the track gradient here too. I have also attached the powerful exit of a freight train with 2x1116 and 1x1144 because I think the acceleration for a freight train is phenomenal. Maybe you like the steep incline angles too. Best regards, your Torsten
