Drainage is needed to get rid of the annoying swamp, in some cases, draining the site can be difficult, but there is a way out - this is drainage work or backfilling the site. If there is water on the site, and you do not know how to install a drainage system, how to properly backfill the site, then in this video we talk about the basic types of drainage, with the help of which you will learn how to drain the site. The most cost-effective and simple method is applicable if there is a place to drain water, this is open drainage, you need to dig ditches along the site, which are discharged into a common drainage ditch running along the sites, thereby the water will be squeezed into the dug channels and on the surface of the site the excess water will be significantly less. The second method is a classic closed deep drainage: drainage pipes are laid in the dug trenches, which go into a common ditch. The diameter of these drainage pipes is 110 mm, the slope of the drainage system is 1 cm / 1 m. It is important that the depth of the common ditch is sufficient for the installation of this type of drainage system. Closed drainage can be made with a different number of drainage branches, at the intersection of drainage branches we recommend installing an inspection well for servicing the drainage system, the distance between the wells and their number can be different depending on the situation. The device of the drainage system can be done both with crushed stone and without crushed stone; Drainage without crushed stone is a ready-made option, trenches are dug with the required slope, special SoftRock pipes are laid, these are drainage pipes that are in a special synthetic filler, wrapped in geotextile, after which the drainage branches are filled with sand to the surface. Drainage with crushed stone: geotextile (density 100-150) is laid in trenches dug with the required slope, 10 cm crushed stone is poured, drainage pipes wrapped in geotextile are laid, then 10 cm crushed stone is poured and covered with geotextile and sand is added to the surface. If there is no common drainage ditch along the plots or the ditch is clogged, there is nowhere to drain the drainage, the water level in the common ditch is higher than the lower point of the drainage, in this case, forced drainage will help to dry the plot. When installing such a drainage system, a drainage well and drainage pipes are used, first, drainage pipes are laid, drainage branches can be made with crushed stone, or without crushed stone SoftRock (SoftRock), then these drainage branches are connected and discharged into a drainage well, the drainage well can be of different sizes depending on the situation on the site. Next, a drainage pump with a float is installed in this well, and from it you can lead a hose or HDPE pipe into a common ditch or to any point outside the site. There are cases when the site is in a lowland, the site is flooded with water, there is nowhere to drain the drainage, in this case, only backfilling and raising the site will help. Different approaches are possible for each situation, for example, if the area is marshy with clay and peat mixed together, the first layer of backfill must be a reliable foundation, broken brick or broken concrete will do, this foundation is also necessary to prevent equipment from sinking on the site, light tracked equipment is used. Next, we pour sand onto a solid foundation to level the surface and lay geotextile, 10-20 cm of sand is poured onto the geotextile, geotextile is laid again, after which fertile soil can be brought in, for example, for a lawn. In this case, there will be no water on the surface of the site, the water will seep into the lower layers of the backfill of the site. #DRAINAGE #DRAINAGE #SITE
