About :

The complete act of the Vanquishing of the Dragon performed in Alcañiz on Sunday, April 24, 2022. More than 200 people, including actors, musicians, extras and collaborators, voluntarily participate in this recreation. Among the main groups are the Knights of St. George, the order of the Calatravos, the dancers, the dragoneros or the Musical Union Nuestra Señora de Pueyos with its choir. The representation of the Vanquishing of the Dragon, which has been a Festival of Tourist Interest in Aragon since 2019, is being recovered after the pandemic with several new features; the main one being eight riders in the Army of St. George, compared to the usual six.
