The Drackenstein waterfall, the Mariengrotte and the church dedicated to the Archangel Michael are located directly opposite the Drackenstein slope and the motorway bridge built in the Second World War. The dragon hole, in which, according to legend, a dragon lived, was filled in for the bridge. Afterwards we had a nice break in the forest car park near the Ave Maria pilgrimage church (not visible in this video), with dandelion salad and butter pretzels. 😁 The old spring sanctuary, the St. Anna fountain, old Ave Maria and a path that leads constantly uphill to the summit cross, the Kilianskreuz. As always, there was all sorts of things to discover and marvel at in the forest.
