He wrote 89 books, including scientific, religious, philosophical, social and political books, in addition to stories, plays and travel stories. His style is characterized by its attractiveness, depth and simplicity. Mustafa Mahmoud presented more than 400 episodes of his famous TV show (Science and Faith). In 1979, he established his mosque in Giza, known as "Mustafa Mahmoud Mosque". Three medical centers are affiliated with him that treat people with limited income. He formed convoys of mercy of sixteen doctors. The mosque includes the Astronomical Society of Mahmoud Mosque and a geology museum, which is run by specialized professors. The museum includes a collection of granite rocks, stuffed butterflies in various shapes and some marine creatures.
