Half an hour of live music by Douwe Bob for prisoners. Including his own hits Pass it on and Multicoloured Angels and the beautiful Hurt by Johnny Cash. Every year, Volgspot organizes Bajesconcerten together with the Exodus foundation. This year it was Douwe Bob's turn. Douwe Bob and his musician and friend Stijn van Dalen know how to silence the audience with their impressive a capella song Peggy Gordon. They are guests at the Justitieel Complex Zaanstad, a building made entirely of concrete that is as big as eighteen football fields and can accommodate more than a thousand prisoners. A small part of them is gathered this afternoon to attend Douwe Bob's concert. In addition, Douwe Bob wrote a song based on a submitted poem, written by a prisoner, that appealed to him the most.
