Tom Manders in a unique double role in the Archivaris. Better known as Muisvalletjes. Then a second meeting with his Alter Echo in a second-hand shop. Tom Manders as Dorus, with songs and sketches, recorded in his club on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam. With his creation Dorus, Tom Manders takes his first steps on stage in the early fifties, namely in the nightclub Saint-Germain des Prés on the Rembrandtplein. Tom Manders puts on an old dust coat, paints his eyes black and sticks a large dripping moustache under his nose. A dog-faithful look and a mischievous vagabond is born. The first episode was broadcast on 23 April 1955.
