In this video I will show you a concrete plant. We will talk about concrete preparation, laboratory tests, fraudulent schemes and the real cost of CORRECT CONCRETE. 00:00 - Introduction. The role of concrete in building a house. Concrete composition 5:04 - Bunker. 6:46 - Control room. Loading concrete. 9:10 - Laboratory. Testing concrete. 13:25 - Determining the actual grade of concrete. 15:36 - How they cheat with concrete. 45:50 - Conclusion Concrete scam. How they cheat with concrete and how to check the quality of concrete. Today we will talk about the quality of concrete and how it is produced. What risks does the builder bear if the concrete is of the wrong grade, how they cheat with concrete, how to avoid these risks. Let's talk about what concrete should be like and how to test it. The basis of the reliability of a future house or building is the foundation. For example, a house costs 5-10 million, the cost of the foundation of this money can be a million. In this million, the cost of concrete can be 100-200 thousand rubles. I often come across the fact that people try to save on concrete, they buy it cheaper. I want to draw your attention to the fact that if we build a house with wonderful walls, ceiling, roof, expensive finishing and so on, but for some reason the foundation is poorly made, then there is a possibility of this house being unsafe and unsuitable for living. What concrete consists of. Concrete testing at the plant Concrete usually consists of 3-4 main components: cement, a binder for cement from fillers (such as sand), and, of course, water. There may also be some additives. The size of the sand also affects the quality of the concrete mix. Also, concrete contains large filler, most often it is granite crushed stone. Of course, the mixture also depends on the quality of the water. At the concrete plant, everything is fully automated. The mixing process is monitored by a person through a special program that visually displays all the elements of the device on the computer monitor. All mixing occurs according to the recipe that is entered into the program. After mixing, the concrete is loaded into a mixer truck. It takes about 5-7 minutes to load one truck. Also, after mixing, some of the concrete goes to the laboratory for quality control, where concrete is poured into a special cubic form. After hardening, the concrete is placed in a special cabinet, which maintains a certain humidity and a temperature of 21 degrees. Then the concrete is closed for 7 days, after which the laboratory assistant must weigh and measure a cube of concrete, record the measurements in a log, insert it into a hydraulic press and check for strength. After checking, the concrete is assigned a grade and sent to the customer. How people are deceived when buying concrete There are two ways to deceive people on concrete. This is to bring the wrong grade, and the wrong volume. Materials arrive at all plants at the same price, so it is impossible to deceive on the price. There is no monopoly on concrete and the price is about the same at all plants, but at one-day plants or on websites where there is concrete at reduced prices, you can be deceived both in volume and in grade. If you think that your concrete grade is underestimated, or you suspect that the concrete is of poor quality, then contact the engineers to check the quality. Good companies have their own lab technicians who can come to your construction site to check the quality. Or you can take them a cube of concrete to check the grade yourself, in any case, good plants are responsible for their work, unlike one-day companies. And they will compensate for losses in the event of their mistake. In order not to get into bad situations, contact large and proven concrete plants directly. In order not to overpay and not redo the foundation, floors and other reinforced concrete products in the future. Thank you for your hospitality, Albert. He is the head of the concrete plant. My name is Artem Myasnikov, I am an engineer of sand and grave construction, I design and build houses for year-round living. I am a principled bore-builder, I do everything within the agreed time frame, which is even boring, without time pressure and panic running in circles in the spirit of "Boss, everything is lost." Mostly, houses are built from aerated concrete, but we also build others, for example, frame houses. Want to know more about the construction of country houses?
