The film is a hymn to the passion for skiing - and is intended to be a small substitute for the ski days that Corona has stolen from us! Author: Michael Düchs For some people, skiing is more than just a nice hobby. Ski touring and freeriding in particular is a pure passion for them that inspires them, fulfills them and that they never tire of! Bergauf-Bergab accompanied three such people on challenging ski adventures in the Dolomites - the resulting film is a hymn to the passion for skiing! Two massifs in the Dolomites, the Sella-Stock and Monte Cristallo, were the destination chosen by Michael Lentrodt, Oliver Paxmann, Philipp Radtke and the Bergauf-Bergab team last year - a few weeks before the first lockdown. With stable avalanche conditions and perfect snow conditions, they wanted to ski some of the steep gullies for which the Dolomites are known among freeriders. Both the skiing and mountaineering challenges are greater in this type of ski mountaineering than in normal ski tours - the reward is unforgettable experiences! Precisely because most skiers currently have to forego pursuing their favorite pastime and precisely because traveling to most areas of the Alps is hardly possible at the moment, we are showing this film - as a small replacement for the skiing days that Corona has stolen from us!
