#tvaparecida #doityourself Today, in the “Does it work or not?” section, artisan Grazy Lambertiine came to show us how to make a melted CD ornament! Will it work? Check out the video! ✂️ LIST OF MATERIALS: 2 CDs or 1 DVD Decoupage napkin Shellac Instant glue Wooden bead (size of your choice) Jute, sisal or other thread of choice Soft brush Heat-erasable pen Scissors Utility knife Adhesive tape Lighter 1 Nail/pin Alcohol or bleach Cotton Sandpaper (whatever you have at home) Strip of synthetic leather Tray Aluminum foil Oven (only for this job) ????STEP BY STEP: ????Scratch the top of the CD from end to end ????Apply the adhesive tape and press firmly to secure it to the CD, leaving some burrs sticking out, then pull the tape to remove the base and the silver part. Do this until the entire base is removed. ????Clean with alcohol and cotton, or soak overnight in active bleach. ???? You can cut the CD and sand it for a better finish, or use the normal size, it's up to you. ???? Trace the decoupage napkin and cut it. Don't forget the middle of the CD. Remove the two sheets from the back of the napkin ???? Apply shellac to the entire base of the CD and stick the napkin on, then apply another layer of shellac over the napkin and place the other CD on top. ???? Line the baking tray with aluminum foil with the shiny side facing up, place the CD on top and bake at 180° for approximately 10 minutes. ???? Make a hole in the end of the CD, and pass the sisal/jute string through it, then pass it through a wooden block and tie a knot at the bottom ????
