How does one actually come to believe in God? Why then not also in flying carpets and fairies? Not asking these questions rationally is dangerous. By doing so, we promote an unhealthy culture that overemphasizes feelings and underemphasizes reason. We shut ourselves off from legitimate questions from non-believers and spread a theology that devalues human reason.
