However, the second pilot, Georgy Baidukov, believes that the ANT-25 can fly over the North Pole and finds an ally, Valery Chkalov. But only one crew is destined to take off on time. Episode 4 Chkalov's crew makes a triumphant journey across America; they become the first to fly over the North Pole. At this time, Gromov's crew is flying the same route. But it is no longer enough for them to fly over the pole and reach the USA.
