Do You Know Your Money Character? Financial literacy pioneer, Money Status, Moneye, and the Founding Leader of the Financial Literacy and Access Association (FODER), Özlem Denizmen completed her BA in Industrial Business Administration at Cornell University. She received her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. She completed the “Negotiation” programs at Stanford, “Leadership” at GE Crotonville Center, “Advanced Management” at Harvard Business School, and “21st Century Public Policy Leadership” programs at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. She started her business life in 1994 as a “Financial Analyst” at Merrill Lynch Investment Bank in the USA. She then returned to Turkey and continued at Garanti Investment Bank. She assumed various roles at Doğuş Group including Budget Planning, Strategy, Business Development, and Investor Relations. Denizmen, who currently serves as the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doğuş Holding and a member of the Board of Directors of Doğuş Otomotiv, is the first Board Member from Turkey elected to the Global Reporting Initiative, an organization that determines the authority and standards in the field of 'sustainability' worldwide. Denizmen is an opinion leader in sustainable individual money management and behavioral microeconomic awareness in our country through educational projects, seminars, newspaper articles, television programs and civil society. She has been leading the financial literacy initiative nationwide since 2010. She took the first step with the PARA DURUMU.com digital media platform. She later wrote three books and reaches millions with her television programs. She has produced many social projects covering women and youth, and has given one-on-one seminars to 90,000 WOMEN. With the 3Kumbara Pocket Money Education Program special for children, 525,000 children and their families were reached in 81 provinces within the Ministry of National Education. In 2012, he founded the Financial Literacy and Access Association (FODER) in order to ensure the sustainability of the Financial Literacy movement he initiated nationwide, and served as its founding president until 2017. Finally, he founded Moneye, an artificial intelligence robo-savings assistant in the Fintech field. Denizmen was selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) at the World Economic Forum. He was one of 5 Turks who attended the OBAMA White House Entrepreneurship Summit. He received many awards, including the Consumer Protection Special Award twice by the Ministry of Customs and Trade.
