Do-it-yourself installation of corrugated roofing, how to cover a roof with corrugated sheets, corrugated sheets alone with your own hands In this video, I will show how one was able to cover a roof with roofing corrugated sheets. I installed a drainage system and started on the final part of the roof. They brought the roof, unloaded it closer to the construction site so as not to drag the sheets far. To lift the sheets up, 2 boards 6 meters long were installed. I took a sheet of corrugated sheeting, put it horizontally and in the place that will be on the ridge side, I made a hole with a drill. I secured the rope with ordinary wire, firmly fixing it through the hole. I put the sheet vertically and climbed up. I rested my feet on the sheathing and pulled the sheet up. I decided to use corrugated sheets for roofing for several reasons. The first is the simple installation, no need to bother with the step of the sheathing. Second, the ability to install a long sheet of 4.5 meters by one, since it will not be easy to lift such a long sheet of metal tiles without bending it. The roof angle is 15 degrees and at such an angle, corrugated sheets are preferable. At the end, I will show the thickness of the snow that was on the roof in winter. The winter was quite snowy, the roof withstood it, the rafters did not bend under the weight of the snow, and the snow that melted during the thaw did not break the drainage system. A lot of snow did not accumulate on top, and the wind blew it away, preventing a large layer from accumulating.
