About :

23 May 1963 DJk arranged an excursion with the steam engine P 917 from Copenhagen over Køge Næstved via the bird flight line to Rødby ferry and return via Nykøbing Ringsted Copenhagen. The trip was also a farewell trip for the P machines at DSB. After arriving at the Rødby ferry, there was a tour of the new station and there was an option to take the ferry to Putgarden or to travel from the ferry to Maribo and on to Bandholm with the Museumsbanen via the Rødby – Maribo railway.
