Knit the first square. Cast on 20 stitches for 30 rows, close all stitches. 2. Cast on 20 stitches for the second square. Knit the second row, and knit the last edge stitch together with the edge stitch of the first square. In each even row, knit the edge stitch of the first and second squares together. 3. Continue knitting all the squares until the blanket reaches the desired size. The squares can be knitted separately and then sewn.
