In the Netherlands, more than 200,000 people have autism. They all have their own story. This is the story of Milana (13), who talks to her father Bojan about her autism. She is good at Dutch and knows a lot about history. 'People don't see that quickly that you have autism, do they?', says Bojan. 'No', Milana agrees. 'And even when I explain it, not everyone understands that I want to be alone for a while when I'm overstimulated.' In bed at night, she closes the folders in her head.
