This cool look is often called a splatter effect, particle effect, displacement effect or distortion effect. The dispersion effect is a type of scattering of particles, pixels or small image elements that are applied to layer masks with splatter brushes. In addition, the content-aware tool (content-based fill), a cutout and the liquefy filter are used.
