In search of copper, non-ferrous and precious metals, I am dismantling various Soviet small items for scrap metal. Let's see how much non-ferrous metal I can get, whether there is copper and brass, and whether there is technical silver. Soviet equipment is usually rich in non-ferrous metals, let's see how rich Soviet small items are in non-ferrous metals. I managed to find channel switches from old Soviet TVs for dismantling for scrap metal, silver-plated contacts are visible on the switches, and there is also some copper wire inside the switches. I must say that I managed to get a decent amount of silver-plated brass from the channel switches. I came across the remains of a control button for dismantling, I managed to profit from brass plates and silver-on-copper type contacts from the button. In the process of dismantling, old Soviet toggle switches were also sent to scrap metal, one of them turned out to be rich in silver, the second contained silver plating. A relay from an old Soviet refrigerator was also dismantled for metal, the catch of brass and copper from it was small, there was little silver either. The thermostat of the Soviet refrigerator pleased me with its brass content, it was almost entirely made of brass, although of course during disassembly I had to separate the magnetic parts made of ordinary iron. But disassembling the three-phase packet switch surprised me, I expected that there would be most of the silver there, but to my surprise it was not there, I had to be content with brass and bronze plates, at least they were thick and had weight. As a result of disassembly, I was not able to collect so much metal, but I must say that Soviet small stuff is quite rich, it is not always possible to get so much from large imports, today it was possible to get little copper, but for such a quantity of material, there is copper-copper. So if you come across Soviet small stuff for disassembly as scrap metal, you must definitely disassemble it. I hope the video about disassembling Soviet small stuff will be interesting and informative. I wish everyone a successful search, collection and cash delivery of scrap metal, especially non-ferrous metals and copper. Enjoy watching everyone, thank you all for watching!
